This neighborhood, which is located within the Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club, offers the right blend of real estate, convenience, and amenities that will appeal to all home buyers in 2020.
Development of Bobcat Trail dates back to the late 1990s; it has always been intended as a smart option for prospective buyers looking for the golf and country club lifestyle at affordable prices. Compared to Sarasota and Bradenton, North Port does not have as many residential golfing communities, but this does not take away from everything that Bobcat Trail has to offer. The 18-hole course has been highly rated by Golf Digest magazine, and the rest of the amenities also get positive reviews; we are talking about a heated swimming pool, a clubhouse with restaurant and cafe areas, tennis courts, walking trails, and a recently renovated fitness center.
Between attached golf villas and single-family homes, Bobcat Trail offers nearly 600 residential units with floor plans that range between 1,600 and 2,124 square feet. Even though the three-bedroom homes offer more interior space than the two-bedroom golf villas, the latter generally offer nicer views of the fairways and lakes, thus placing them in higher demand. As of June 2020, you can actually find a three-bedroom home with two full bathrooms and a two-car garage listed for less than $250K.
When you evaluate the various golf communities of Sarasota County, you can see that Bobcat Trail offers plenty of value. The course membership, which is not mandatory, is one of the most reasonable in Southwest Florida, and you also have the advantage of living about 25 minutes away from Venice Beach. The Shoppes at Price Plaza, a shopping center with a Publix supermarket, is located along the northern boundary of the neighborhood.
